Troubleshooting​

My reminders aren't showing up​

Try these steps:

  1. Check permissions: Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Reminders and ensure Vigilare has access
  2. Refresh: Click the refresh button (↻) in the window header
  3. Verify in Apple Reminders: Make sure the tasks exist in the native Reminders app
  4. Restart the app: Quit and relaunch Vigilare

The window disappeared​

Click the Vigilare icon in the Dock to show the window. You can also access settings and other features from the app.

Tasks aren't syncing between devices​

Ensure that:

  • iCloud is enabled on all devices (System Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Reminders)
  • You're signed in with the same Apple ID
  • You have an active internet connection for initial sync
  • iCloud sync is not paused in System Settings

The app crashes on launch​

  1. Update macOS: Ensure you're running macOS 16.0 or later
  2. Reinstall: Delete the app and download it fresh from the App Store
